I'm going to be MIA (because, you know, I'm always in action) for the rest of this week. I feel bad everyday when I don't post, but I can't this week so I guess I need to suck it up. This post will be quick because I'm busy, remember?
I like lemons and everything, so you as readers should too. Be happy that I like to give you some.
you know what they say about musicians-
Musicians are supposed to be good with their hands. And whattayaknow, Edward's a musician.
This story the same author, inthestars, and it looks awesome. I haven't had the chance to read it yet, but I will. I'm a sucker for any historical stories.
Soif de Sang-
Set in the 1930s. Fueled by guilt and self-hatred, Edward leaves Carlisle and Esme to hunt the darkest creatures of humanity: murderers, rapists, thieves, criminals. But what happens when one of their victims calls to him on a whole other level?

Happy Belated
Happy belated St. Valentine's Day to you all. Did you eat as much chocolate as you could handle? I did to the extreme... It was also President's Day yesterday here in the United States, so yes, there will be fics rec'd on that. But first the V-day... (Some are cheesy, but whatever!)
Valentine's Day 2010
Jacob wants Nessie to be his Valentine. How does he do it? Through cheesy jokes, duh.
Boycotting Valentine's Day
Some women have trouble finding guys, Bella has the opposite problem. When Valentine's Day approaches, her prospective suitors turn up their game, hoping to be her Valentine. Instead, Bella chooses to hang out with her best friend Alice and they both decide to boycott Valentine's Day. A weekend of non-Valentine's Day activities are lined up including no guys allowed. But, surely Alice's brothers, Edward and Emmett, don't count, right?

Team Switzerland.
I was going to have a Valentine's Day post, but my computer decided that it was a good time to screw up. I'll probably do a late one tomorrow.
I say 'Team Switzerland' because that was the first thing I thought of when a Swiss ski jumper won the gold medal at the Olympics . How sad is that? That fans can see something and relate it to Twilight. I mean everything. If I look in front of me, I see a laundry basket. This reminds me of when Bella's clothes are stolen from her in Eclipse. You see what I mean?
^This has nothing to do with the post, I just wanted to put some Olympics into it. :]
Today's post is a fluff. Fluff is just all cutesy stuff and I, personally, love it.
This fluff made me crack up when I read it, so I had to post it:
One Last Banana-
Bella relishes her last time to enjoy a banana and Edward teases her about it. Fun, fluffy, humorous, and slightly sad on the part of the banana.

A REMINDER AND UPDATE FOR CONTEST!
The contest has been PUSHED BACK TO SATURDAY, MARCH 20TH for personal reasons. Thanks for understanding.
That Breaking Dawn Contest is still going on and if you'd like to hop on board email me (melissaisatwilightlover@gmail.com). It is all about those missing moments in the last book in the Twilight Saga.
Quick Rec:
Across the Ocean
In one quick and thoughtless act, Bella Swan sends a letter in a bottle across the ocean. It reaches England, where Edward Cullen finds it, and begins their correspondance, one that leads to more than either of them could expect.
Oh, Canon.
Canon. One of my favorite fanfiction genres. Actually, it is my absolute favorite. The reason why: these stories focus on the characters we first fell in love with.
If you are out of bounce with this term here is the definition, exclusively from Wikipedia (because we all love it!):
Canon refers to the "official" source material upon which fan fiction can be based. In recent years, some fandoms have engaged in lengthy debate over what is or is not "canon", usually due to multiple writers in various media creating contradictory source material... It is important to note that something that is regarded as "canon" is regarded as being essentially a verifiable fact in the given fandom. Details as complex as the laws of physics in a given story universe or as minute as how a character's name is meant to be spelled can be referred to as "canon" details, so long as they are specifically shown or otherwise directly revealed in the source material; this includes character behavior as well, though debate over what can or cannot be considered "canon behavior" is often a point of contention in fandom... In short, "canon" in the context of fanfiction is both the accepted "official" material itself, and a concept or detail promoted by the original work and/or in accepted "official" material.
l'm not so sure that I accept canon as 'official material, though, but the stuff written is fantastic (most of it). Some examples of the work:
Triangles With Linear Qualities-
Jacob doesn't even like geometry.
I liked this one, since it is in third person and that it is set place in New Moon (my favorite book). Bella and Jake are taking a break from being 'irresponsible' and doing homework. Jacob uses the triangles he is studying for math as a metaphor for his relationship with Bella.
Numb-
We know Bella tore her stereo out of her truck...this is her story of that day.
This one-shot killed me. Seriously, I was so upset when I read it. Music is a connection that Edward and Bella have and when he leaves during New Moon, all that is gone. Every reminder of him, taken away, broken, like the stereo.
Whole-
After centuries of waiting, the Cullen family is finally complete. Rosalie observes as the last piece of their puzzle finally slots into place.
This was so canon. It showed Rosalie's reaction to Renesmee perfectly. While Rose thinks that Nessie is hers, she needs to face the truth. She isn't her daughter and Rose will have to accept that.
If you'd like to read more like this, there is an awesome C2 Community called All Canon Twilight

I'm Sure You Did This Too.
So, how about that Super Bowl (Can I say that or is it copyright infringement?)? I watch it specifically for the commercials and read during the actual game.
I bet you watched it, non like I did.
........
Exactly. You only were in it for the advertisements, too.
The only thing 97% of Americans like about it is the commercials. This does not relate to Twilight whatsoever, I just needed to say. I mean, it could. I could say 97% of the readers read it because of Edward. And this is true.
I'm especially excited to hear from WhyFightAnEclipseWhenTheresJaz who sent me a PM about her one-shot. And you know I love them, but her story Cullens Adopt a Kid caught my eye instead! Check it out, I hear it's funny stuff.
