Character Spotlight: Charlie

Charlie and his dry sense of humor never fails to amaze me, even in fanfics. And, plus I love his 'stache. Which is good, because I am pretty sure that he has one in The Night Bella Told Charlie authored by lovetowritedotcom. She is some kid, 12-13 year old, and I am impressed! I couldn't do that well then...well, I could, but still. 

The night Bella told Charlie. Charlie’s point of view (by the way, Edward never tells Bella what Charlie is really thinking because it would hurt her feelings).

It's so funny! Except the end where everything is in italics and parentheses. I hated that part, it ruined the moment. Intentionally trying to be funny in fics bothers me. Charles is on my top ten favorite character list, so of course I enjoyed this. Did you?

One Shot Day...

Thank God, because I love one-shots, as I have said before. So, I was wondering how Bella's Lullaby came along, then I found this little gem, Lullaby. 

It was really nice to see how happy Esme was to find out about Edward's love. The story, if you could call it that (it's short), is in Esme's POV and XxMoonstonexX has a beautiful way of showing it.

Surprise Smut Plus One

It is ironic that I will post a surprise smut and something cute and fluffy. It's quite the opposite...especially this: The Great Vacation by Lady-of-the-Ravens. I know it is a little far fetched with the smut, not because of the girl on girl stuff, but the erotica of it's contents. I feel kind of odd for liking it so much, but whatever. 

That was the surprise, now here is the real thing. Keep you forever was written by cactus452 and is a series. It is a series and I will post them for the next week of two. There are four in the series and I might use them as a surprise on the Character Spotlights. 

I like these short and cute one-shots, especially with Alice. It is heartwarming, really. 

After the Cullen's leave Forks in New Moon Carlisle and Alice talk over what's happened.

I Lie...

Now, don't go yelling 'You Lie' at me, it won't help or make you rich. But what I can do is give  you a great FF to read. Why am I a liar? I said I would not do anymore BD posts. I know, I know. But this is urgent:

Waxing. Crescent.  Pastiche Pen can't get any better. I swear. I am in love with this one so much. 

It is basically Nessie all grown up in High School. Her family moves to Canada, she attends a prep school... It's too good to explain. Oh, and also a mysterious vampire is stalking her.

How the hell do you become a proper well-adjusted adult when your dad can read your every thought? when you've never been human? when you're not really a vampire? when you prefer to show your thoughts instead of speaking them? And then there's this whole thing where your

hot best friend is your auto-soulmate...

I will never lie to you again, maybe, but this is  on my top ten list.

Another Late One...

So I am sick of the Breaking Dawn themed past days. Therefore, I have decided to look into Edward's past. I am a huge advocate of the 'I want to know about Edward's past so write about it Stephenie' club. Always have been. 

This story I am currently reading is called Two Leather Journals by Hazl. And those journals are awesome. See for yourself:

Edward remembers nothing from his human life. Bella finds two leather journals, the only thing left from his past. They read them, and find out about what direction Edward's life was heading...and learn a shocking secret from his past.

I haven't a clue about the secret from his past, so I cannot spoil it. What I do know is that this fits my needs until my fan club wishes come true.
